Accessing the API and SDK packages

API and SDK packages are available at no charge. You simply need to submit the online SDK application form and accept the "SDK License Terms". The DAP team will seek approval for your SDK request from the relevant team. The API and SDK packages are sent to you once your request is approved.

Deployment of the integration

The integration that is developed belongs to our partners. All Genetec sells is the part number, which allows your integration to work on Security Center and our other products.

The part number is what needs to be ordered on your end users’ production system. Once the part number is added onto a production system where your integration is deployed, the part is authenticated against the certificate. Your integration will then work in our product suite.

Technical assistance

Technical assistance isn’t included with our API and SDK packages. To access our specialized SDK technical guidance and support, you need to purchase a DAP technical assistance plan. You can refer to the screenshot below for more details regarding the different plans available:

Choosing the right tier for you

The Bronze tier is strictly ticket-based. While any type of DAP partner can purchase it, we recommend Bronze for partners who previously had a Silver or Gold plan and only need punctual assistance updating their integrations.

First-time partners and partners that need a more hands-on approach are encouraged to choose between Silver and Gold. These tiers include personalized guidance, which can be used for custom training, remote sessions and recurring or punctual calls with senior developers specialized in API and SDK. You also get access to extra development tools.

Silver and Gold also give partners access to our integration certification program. Once your integrations are certified, if eligible, benefit from marketing promotion such as extended solution description and data sheets on the Partner and integration hub, and be featured in our internal sales announcements.
