New certified integration: Digicon Driver for GSC by Digicon

We are pleased to announce that the Digicon Driver for GSC solution has met our rigorous performance criteria and is now certified with the Genetec DAP group.

Digicon controllers are integrated with Genetec Security Center (GSC) using Synergis™ Cloud Link (SCL) using RIO protocol. The controllers integrate the Digicon Driver with SCL to communicate with the SDK and download the full list of credentials from Security Center. This process allows the solution to work both online and offline.

Digicon Driver main features:

  • Offline mode allows Digicon devices to continue to operate in the event of a failure or loss of connection.

  • Offline events are queued in the devices and displayed in Genetec Security Desk when the Digicon readers are back online or a connection is established. Offline events include all access granted, denied, and entry assumed events.

  • Offline reports can be viewed with GSC reports.

  • Digicon readers connect to GSC SCL through RIO protocol, allowing for ease of integration with systems and businesses already using Genetec Security Center.
