New certified integration: SAFR SCAN by RealNetworks

We are pleased to announce that the SAFR SCAN solution by RealNetworks has met our rigorous performance criteria and is now certified with the Genetec DAP group.

The SAFR SCAN integration for Genetec Security Center (GSC) allows SAFR to import Genetec cardholders and credentials to be used on SAFR SCAN's face recognition biometric readers. It uses imported cardholder pictures, converted into a biometric signature, to verify a person's identity when presented at a SAFR SCAN reader.

SAFR SCAN main features:

  • Import cardholders, credentials, and pictures from GSC through the Web SDK.

  • Synchronize GSC, the SAFR server, and a SAFR SCAN device for any changes in the status of cardholders and credentials.

  • Create biometric signatures using GSC cardholder pictures.

  • Identify a person using their facial recognition enabled reader.
