Overview of the Platform SDK

The Platform SDK is the standard SDK for Security Center. It is a toolbox that enables Tech Partners to create applications that connect to and interact with the Security Center platform. It is used to develop Windows applications and services, and graphical user interfaces in a .NET development environment. The Platform SDK allows for retrieving entity information and modifying entities, retrieving events and alarms, generating reports, and so on. All interactions done to the Security Center platform through the SDK use the same secure communication channels and Security Center clients (Security Desk and Config Tool).
