Overview of the RTSP Media Gateway

In cases where the .NET Media SDK cannot be used, you can use the RTSP Media Gateway role to access video streams through Security Center. Because the video streams are available through Security Center, you can use the RTSP Media Gateway's routing and redirection capabilities. These capabilities are paired with the flexibility of raw video received directly from the camera. In addition, you can display the video using any standard viewer that supports the camera's specific encoding. You could then use such a viewer to display video in a web page.
