Overview of the Security Center SDK

Security Center provides development tools that allow Genetec partners and customers to expand their security platforms by integrating more systems and adding custom functionality. These development tools are built on the same core functions, providing access to all core technologies within Security Center. Therefore video management, access control, intrusion detection, and ALPR function calls are all available through a single Software Development Kit (SDK).

Architecture

To understand how the SDK works, programmers must be familiar with the main architecture and concepts of the Security Center platform. For information about Security Center, see the Security Center user documentation.
